Well, it has been a few months since I last wrote a post and am a little disappointed with myself to be honest. Still, in that time I have gotten into, and watched a new TV series whch I never really enjoyed before: Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis
Stargate SG1 (I’m going with the massively cut down synopsis and assuming you no nothing here) follows on from the movie, released in the min 90’s, of how an alien device, called a stargate, allows near instantaneous travel throughout the Milky Way.
Along they way, the team make new friends and enemies and over time, pick up new technology and ultimately there own (small!) fleet of starships.
Stargate Atlantis was the first spin off where the group behind SG!, known as Stargate Command, set up a base in a city in another galaxy (a little like Star Trek DS9). Stargate Universe is the second spin off and is coming to our screens early next month. Here is the trailer for the new show, which, even if you’re not a Stargate fan, looks pretty amazing! Let me know what you think…
