About me
Who am I? Well, my name, as you can tell from the name of my site, it is James Jacob and I’m a social media nut. Since leaving University in the year 2000, I have worked for Marketing Agencies both in and around London within the client services teams. I orignally started blogging in November 08 with a focus on films, tv shows, marketing and social media, basically anything and everything that interested me.
At the start of this year, I have chosen to take on more work and moved into the freelancing world. Using my background in marketing agencies working across a wide range of both on and offline client campaigns (more detail available in my Portfolio) I have worked on some pretty amazing projects and has all culminated with me loving the web more and more. The most enjoyment from working in this field is seeing clients faces when the online execution appears and the positive results come flooding in.
In addition, I’m a bit of an Apple nerd and love my iBook and iPod Touch. I’m also keen on nerdy movies, Star Wars in particular and you’ll see my on Twitter talking about just that. Though only a hobby, I’m getting more passionate about digital photography.
